Rain in Cottons Park

I was much less successful dodging the showers - I got rained on going to the station and coming home!

Cottons Park isn't the most colourful park I've ever been in (especially since the garden planners chose to cut down the only trees that had berries and replace them with saplings they didn't bother to water which then died).

But at this time of year there's a few cherries in blossom and the variety of foliage is lovely. The rain somehow intensified the colours and showed up the way some trees are quite advanced while others" leaves are only just beginning to unfurl.

Kitten update - three born between nine at night and three in the morning, mother and kittens all doing well!
