Tulip abstract

Been in Morrison's most of the day collecting for Parkinsons. We made £521 which is pretty good.
Came back and did some gardening while it wasn't raining. Not dry enough (hahaha always the optimist) to mow the lawns but cleared all the nettles and cleavers (stickybud) from under my cut-and-laid hawthorn hedge and removed more thistles from the grass in the 'meadow'.
For those in the UK I can thoroughly recommend the weeding gadget that is being advertised on tv at the moment (Fiskars weed puller). I'm not usually influenced by tv ads but this is absolutely the best thing I've bought for removing the whole tap root of dandelion and thistle. In fact I may even blip a demo of it tomorrow (in between forecast gales).
Had a quick play with soft focus on tulips (after giving up trying to decide whether to do a focus stack or differential focus). This is the rather abstract result.
