Torcher Team

Today was the Torcher parade! Local hauliers donate there lorries for the cities students to decorate and take a two hour journey around the city. People throw their loose change into buckets and thousands of pounds its raised for local charities!

The radio station gave them our support as radio sponsor and they asked if we wanted to take part.

Our lory (or float) was "Radio Relief" (since 2007), we made a dj booth and dressed as medical staff. Lots of banners, we threw out hundreds of balloons to the kids and had a great laugh. The lorry looked great. Lots of fun.

Dave, Martin, Tom, myself and Robert seen in shot. I'm the one giving a wave.

It was a toss up between this and a picture of the lorry.

Next year pehaps.
