SCOTCH ON THE GLASS

This is a sign I saw on a shop window. It says no dogs or smoking. My dad who
smoked most of his life , and a dog would have had his birthday today. Born in 1909 , he lived till he was 85. I remember him taking us in our taxi to picnics
and coming seeing me in hospital. He worked in pubs at night sometimes to get extra money, and in a hospital during the day. He gave up the taxi to work in a hospital. He would come outside visiting hours to see me . Looking back
at my mum and dad, the biggest thing was they did not get divorced as people were harder in these days and fewer took the easy way out. Saying that in some circumcises I understand why some people do.
