Ladybug

Thinking I was running out of options, for a blip this lovely little lady was found on my veranda. Not in best of moods as she was disturbed from getting ready for hibernation, she flapped her little wings, and scurried for cover. This is probably one of the most loved creatures by young and old, farmers and gardeners alike. Ladybug beetles as well as the larvae are excellent at destroying lice. I reluctantly spray one of my cycads with poison,as it normally gets infested with the dreaded mealiebug, (white, hairy) that sucks the sap out of the leaves - So wish more of these red and black ladies and gents could find themselves a castle and green pastures in my cycad!
