Shoe Porn

Forgive me for a backblip, but in fairness I did try to submit this at 11.53pm last night from a bar named Mama Liz's in Stamford. Apparantley not great mobile coverage there though and judging by the garbled blurb on my iphone screen, probably a good job it didn't work.

Went out for a very good friend's birthday. The theme for the evening was Sequins and Amazing shoes. I feel I complied with the shoe part. These are my absolute favourites, from Dune and are almost 7" high! Comfortable until they're suddenly not.... Coupled with Strawberry Daiquiris and Stamford's beautiful old cobbled streets and a bar crawl which as far as I can remember involved eight bars, it's amazing I didn't fall flat on my face.
We must have looked a pretty glam crew with the amount of sequins on show. Some lovely beautiful ladies (including one Olympic hopeful).

£40 taxi home GULP a kebab proudly proffered to one's husband as a trophie and I feel I can hold my head high in the 'Girls Night Out' stakes.
