Broad Beans

This was my insurance policy shot because I had high hopes of taking a night-time shot of the Moon and Venus (have discovered a night-time setting on my camera!). Anyhow it's bitterly cold, very windy and too cloudy to see anything!

The Broad Beans were started off in the greenhouse early March and planted out under a net curtain[*] about a fortnight ago. It was resonably calm a few days ago so removed the net, they have stood up well to today's weather though and have small flower buds starting!

* I used to use agri-fleece but it disintegrates and makes a horrible mess. Net curtains are cheap in charity shops and last for years!
