On the 'ead...

Photographed my first football match today. I've done other sports but never footy so when the chance came up to actually go to photograph a match for a purpose I jumped at it. Despite not being a footy fan in the slightest it was an interesting day and I've got new respect for sports photographers, it's really not that easy, especially with something that's so fast paced as football. There's little opportunity to predict where the ball will be etc. Add to all that handling a 400mm lens and fighting the biting cold wind this afternoon I'm pretty pleased with the shots I got.
