A pretty dull and damp day which was perhaps just as well as I had a number of indoor tasks to do. Ventured out only to get a new chain for our saw and post a small packet. Too big to use our stock of 1st and 2nd class stamps so had to pay the new prices. Although I didn't think £1.20 was excessive for a sheaf of A4 heavyweight sheets to the far end of the country. When King Alex (or Wee Eck as some people refer to him as) gets his way it'll count as foreign mail and cost twice as much.
