you had to hide away for so long...

Finally a respite from the constant downpours, tho still very windy, woke to blue skies and sunshine today and was able to assess the effect the extreme weather has had on my herb garden.
Manuel the Mint and Sybil the Sage are thriving, certainly not been bothered by the high winds at all, can continue drinking Moroccan Mint tea safe in the knowledge there will still be plenty left for a jug (or 2) of Pimms should this lovely weather last til the weekend.
Basil the Basil however, is looking really very sorry for himself and has been swiftly moved to the shelter of the greenhouse, we wish him a speedy recovery as I have a craving for spaghetti bolognaise.
