May 1: Heating off

Normally, we have the heating on low all day in the house over the winter. This has proven to be very cost-effective over the last two years as we're not trying to heat up a cold house twice a day.

Sadly, today we turned off the heating. This mornings weather was diabolical and pleas of cold shivering were ignored and I was told to start a fire to keep warm. I'm also wearing 3 quite thick layers and quilted boots!
