Below The Pond's Level

Last month we were pleased to observe that in spite of the killing of the frogs during the 'ice time' our pond was filled with frogspawn.

Frost, hail, rain and a too low temperature for the time of the year could not prevent the spawn spontaneously came out in the course of last month.

Today I can show you the life of the tadpoles below the pond's level, using a trigger set and a wireless flash (FL-36R) in a transperant plastic (bread) bag. The tadpoles are swimming around the rests of the spawn -on the right upper side of the picture - while eating it. Hope you like this 'wet view' ... ;)
