Spanish Essentials For Conversation

Kathy and I are taking a conversational Spanish class at Lane Community College.

Every Tuesday evening we ride the bus downtown for dinner out followed by our Spanish class.

The class is quite different. Each class involves Professor Collins creating a story in Spanish with the help of we students.

We also read a prepared story in Spanish and translate it.

The story tonight was a mystery that involved "Hercule Spade".

If you look closely at the white board it you will see: "Aqui esta mirarte a Ti, Jovencita".

This is a nod to Mr. Bogart... "Here's to you, Kid".

We are having quite a bit of fun, as well as learning more Spanish than we ever believed possible in the five weeks so far.
