Union

This photo of 10yo Phoebe's patriotic trousers, was taken about 5 minutes after the Queen had left our little town and headed back off on her Jubilee Tour.

For me, it captures the whole experience. The barriers, litter and trampled grass are so out of place in our sleepy town. The Union Flag was everywhere in bunting, hand flags and big flagpole toppers, but for me, these trousers and their confidently posed wearer, say it all.
