Around the World

The forecast had been for rain today, and it wasn't wrong. We decided on an indoor activity, so after a sushi lunch we took the train to The Museum of Emerging Science & Innovation (sounds a bit dull maybe but has lots of fun hands on things for kids to do, and that's we wanted for Kio). In fact I started flagging before her, luckily there were plenty of places for a cup of tea.

It was still raining when we left, so decided to postpone going home and had tea at Shimbashi station at a place called Soup Stock - highly recommended!

Due to inclement weather I was not able to take many (any) photos outside, but managed a few indoors. This is a picture of Noriko (unawares) watching the giant globe in the museum. Made up of thousands of LEDs, the image constantly changes to give the impression of the revolving world through the days and the seasons.
