Spelling mistake!- state-of-the-art college

Oh dear! All those who think educational standards are slipping will have their fears confirmed when they pick up our local paper today.

Splashed across the front page of the Stirling Observer is a notice on the new bus shelter outside our new state-of-the-art Forth Valley college.

"Fourth Valley Collage"




The tabloid Daily Record revels in the story too:

"You wait ages for a mistake then 2 come along o at once."


Well, I couldn't resist popping along to see for myself.
Too late.
The college had already removed it.
But I had a word with the bus driver who happened to be there.

He says he told them a week ago when they were putting the sign up that the spelling was wrong.
But they ignored him.
