The big lift

Happened to walk by a big lift on site today, part of a big demolition job on some old plant, these cranes are very big, the one on the left is a 500 ton - together they lifted the old unit, all 60 tons if it, of its base and effortlessly span it round and laid it on its side - these guys really are good at what they do!

Took this with a new 8 - 16 mm lens - great fun, but I think if will take a bit of playing around with to see what works well
