Innocent or Guilty?

My Slaves deserved a treat. They have been ferrying be back and forth to the vet for some weeks and I must confess I have cost them a fortune. So, I decided to bring them a gift today. A fresh catch of the day, that I caught on the hoof.

As I approached the front door with the bird they shut me out and shouted. I ran around to the back door and they had placed the bing in front of the cat door so I could not take my gift in for them.

They were not impressed. A lot of shouting took place and I was ordered to remove the gift from the step.

When I returned I was accused of murder! Me, who do they think I am? Do I look like that sort of chap?
