Every Action Has Consequences

Today has been the launch of an education pack produced by Blackburn based charity 'Every Action Has Consequences'.

Pat and Dave Rogers launched the 'Every Action Has Consequences' campaign in memory of their son Adam, who was killed by one single punch from a 16-year-old on a night out on the 5th July, 2009.

Adam's parents now visit schools and colleges to warn teenagers about the dangers of violence and alcohol. Adam's father has also visited prisons where he helps with offender rehabilitation.

We've been working with Adam's family to produce a DVD to accompany educational material being distributed around the area to schools and colleges. The DVD includes interviews with people affected by the loss of Adam, police interviews, discussions about organ donation, a dramatic interpretation of the events leading to Adam's death, and Adam's father Dave telling the story from his perspective. Free copies of the DVD can be requested by anyone who feels it would be a useful resource for a group they work with, and a 'preview' or taster of the hour long DVD can be seen here in this shortened version here

The event today launched the education pack, and culminated with a mass release of balloons. It was a really moving event, and we feel honoured that the Rogers family chose us to work with on this project.
