Chiesa di S Severino, Spello.

A real scorcher today, I was trying to stay out of the sun it was that hot. Went to visit Spello. Hill top town of roman origin, although now mainly a medieval walled town. All the usual fixtures and fittings , the narrow cobbled streets were very picturesque but not really photogenic. I went into all the architecturally interesting buildings. S.Severino was empty when I went in and the yellow light streaming through the stained glass was amazing
(Yes it was yellow light, not a white balance issue.) Took a series of shots of the church but I particularly liked this detail. Quite difficult because none of these buildings allow you to take in a tripod so you have to boost the iso and hope the quality is acceptable.
