Wave Machine

Kilbirnie Loch was busy tonight. Several people fishing at the side, a host of brightly coloured kayaks which appeared later on and these two guys who were being watched from shore by a labradoodle. They helpfully volunteered to make us some waves to play in. Great fun.

Air temperature about 18 degrees, water about 12 degrees. Positively tropical. We were in for just over an hour and Fiona and I took the bravery pills at the end and ditched the wetsuit, socks and hat for a brief dook. Lyall even managed to take his suit off in the water. Mel vows he will join us next time; Warren and Chris aren't promising anything.
