Polling Day

It was polling day today. This is the first time we've voted since moving to Colinton and I was very pleased to see that our polling station is within a few minutes cycle. It's a lovely old Victorian church called St Cuthbert's. I was trying to get a blip of the church and the colourful boards, but a large car parked outside made it difficult to get the perfect angle.

Walling stone arrived and hubby and I have been using the wheelbarrow to bring it up to the back garden. I'm planning on building a retaining wall and have been looking for somewhere to buy stone for a while. Border Aggregates in Kelso were recommended and the stone looks perfect for the job. Looking forward to getting started on this.
