So I made chicken liver pate whilst cooking the kids tea then made hollandaise sauce for our supper - smoked haddock on a bed of spinach with a poached egg.

I had 2 egg whites left.

At 10.00pm I decided to make meringues with said egg whites, but needed 2 more. Meringues in Aga.

2 yolks surplus. I know, I'll have a go making pasta. Saw a bloke on tv do it once with his fingers in a nest of flour.

Quite pleased with the result!

Looking forward to the meringues emerging at midnight!

To complete the title of this blip '..has come over me?'
