Peat stack

There is a blustery, cold wind today - so unlike the wonderfully sunny last few days, so we are using plenty of this today! A small solid-fuel stove with small doors and a back-boiler that heats up quickly and pumps hot water to radiators throughout the house, means that although it's cold outside it is lovely and warm inside. A day of reading, and photography, and perhaps a bit of painting (art, that is, not house-painting!)
