Photographic Poeticisms

Clocked Time

Flower head
Of stolen Summer sun
Counts the Springtime hours
While rain
Precious lifegiver
From the clouds it pours

Bee companion
Antenna waving
Despoils the bright virgin
And changes
Momentous in their way
Are given leave to begin

Feathered timepieces
Awaiting maiden flight
Sit, momentarily immortal
Until, wind blow
Speeds them then
Beyond nature's fey portal

Ahh but time flies
If you're having fun
Or so the saying goes
But stops
When you watch the clock
Surely everyone knows
