BBC pips

Just in case anybody has wondered where the BBC pips come from, they come from these transmitters in Anthorn on the Solway Firth. I didn't know myself until moving to the area. I also have some sunset photos of them actually taken in Anthorn itself.

I blipped this from a few miles away just outside Kirkbride whilst walking Bonnie this afternoon.

The mountain you can see in the background is Criffel in Scotland which also appeared in my blip yesterday.
