Angel delight

I've driven by the Angel of the North many times and marvelled at it's stature and dominance of the skyline but today turned off the A1, parked up and paid homage. The Angel is magnificent! It is quite a moving experience, even more so when you realise people are requesting that, after their death, their ashes be scattered at the feet of the Angel. This I can understand. On a windswept knoll high above the Tyne valley you can't help but to feel protected, whether in this life or the next.
