Saturn

Over 1 billion km away, 95 times the size of the Earth, Saturn is the furthest solar system planet visible with the naked eye from Earth. This is the first time I've managed to get a pic of it and I'm buzzing after the 3 hour session with the telescope tonight. I've got so much to learn but I enjoyed it tonight. Saw Venus, Saturn, Mars and the moon, amazing night.

This is just a single shot with the D90 mounted on the Skywatcher Explorer 200p, I need a bigger barlow to get closer!
