Heavy Metal!

Walked past this lot on my way to work today, reminded me of 20 years ago when I was a turner. (eek, as long ago as that?...)

We'd winch one of these pieces into a lathe and machine away for days making a housing for a deep sea camera to be fitted onto a mod submarine.

Remember it well. Stainless Steel, Aluminum or the 'Dreaded' Titanium. God I hated that stuff.

I took this through a gap in a fence, incase you wondered. I suspect not.
