Party Shirt

Mrs T's brother was 50 yesterday, and a party was to be held tonight in celebration.

Now, as part of his birthday week he jetted off to France for some golfing and was due to return late afternoon today, and got straight to the party.

Cutting it a bit fine you might think! Well that 's what we thought.

And sure enough, the plane that was due to bring him and his chums home is, as I type, still in Edinburgh. We've no word yet when they'll be home.

So the party's off.

I'd even gone out and bought a new party shirt.

The shirt's off now too.
