Earl of Merioneth

Seeing as today looked likely to be the best of the Bank Holiday weekend we headed into North Wales, only an hour away but a completely different World.

Caught this Ffestiniog railway train and rode it for 5 miles to Tan-y-bwlch and then walked back along footpaths to the car. Through coniferous and deciduous woods, open moorland, mountain tracks and even a half empty reservoir it was a walk to be highly recommended.
