On our way

This is my brother K.

We were on the way to a skid course in Rosmalen
and had a lot of fun today! We learned a whole new
set of skills with the car (like I've never tried that
before....) :) It was a christmas gift from our mom.

It's great experience to ride in a completely new
BMW 116i and a Mini Cooper while I'm used to my
old 1995 Fiat Punto. The first and hardest part is
how to start the car.... with a button.. :) And then,
driving with ABS and EPS through a very slippery
course is something new. In the end it was turned off,
and it was quite an experience to feel the car drifting
away. And making some 180´s. Haha

My brother and I had great fun, and were not that good
as we hoped to be... We both hit a lot of cones... but learned a lot.
Of course it is quite impossible to do all the things right
if you´re not used to such a sofisticated car, and have
been riding it for an hour. That was a bit of a frustration.

The day ended with a oversteer and understeer course,
where we had to drive the Mini through and try not to
hit the cones which represented oak trees. That was quite
a challenge. Especially the part where we could use the
handbrake on each other was the most fun!

Unfortunately it was over too soon.
