Mother India

Nick, Murron and I decided to visit the National Museum of Scotland and have lunch at Mother India's Cafe. It has been a rather sad week with the death of Tom, our neighbour, on Thursday. A lovelier neighbour we could not have wished for and our thoughts are very much with his wife. She has never lived alone and this will be a huge upheaval for her. I quickly baked a cake to give before we left this morning. She has had a constant stream of people popping in and had nothing to offer them.

If Indian food is your thing then I thoroughly recommend Mother India. The food was great - lots of tapas style dishes to try and wonderful service.
