Branding Day!

Today is the day were we brand the baby cows. I know it hurts them, and we are aware that it is cruel. But for the safety of the herd and for the protection of our investment in them it is necessary that we do it. It is a great time when a lot of old friends come together in order to work and help brand them all. We had 64 calves we had to brand today and we worked together to help. It was great to get to see old friends as well as new comers to the experience.
