awoken by the dawn chorus again but managed to get back to sleep

am: we had a wander about Turin with S today. had my first ice cream - Gianduja. walked by Alessandro La Marmora Barracks, a detention and torture headquarters for the National Republican Guard during the later few years of WWII. had a wander around a Sgaravatti garden centre. then lunch with a friend of S.

pm: a wander around the Palazzo Madama (Museo Civico di Arte Antica) and it's gardens (where this blip is taken - there were many holes in the walls, each contained a loud sparrow!), then an aperitif in Cavoretto, before back for food wine and chat

PS i would have chosen an "interesting" piece of art from the museum's collection, but i was unsure about it breaking blip rules of indecency, so thought better of it
