Baking again

Daughter of Mine and I spent the day baking gingerbread, cupcakes and chocolate chip cookies to sell at church tomorrow to raise funds for the British Heart Foundation Lifesaver Appeal.

This appeal will directly help to train more people in emergency life support skills, including CPR. Son of Mine has just completed his third Emergency First Aid badge, which included this training and as my dad suffered a fatal heart attack five years ago, we decided that we couldn't ignore this appeal.

Although as Husband of Mine pointed out, encouraging cake eating doesn't really fit with the objectives of the British Heart Foundation.

Oh well...
