Amethyst?

. . . . or an early purple orchid!

Actually, there were masses of them in the cemetery but I couldn't do them justice so decided on a close-up shot. Their colour is so strong it reminded me of amethysts, so that's today's gem blip done! Isn't nature wonderful!
