The fool on the hill

This England

A good then naff day finally reverted to a good day by late afternoon. By 5pm we were all flying several thousand feet above the English countryside listening to our varios chirruping the chirrup of happiness as we climbed in lovely thermals. It's galling to leave a decent bit of going-upness (You always think just one more turn and then I'll leave it) but in the end I accepted my fate and proceeded to burn off 4000' so I could land, pack up and leave to fulfill my domestic demands. But you always want more - even after all these years in the game.
