Come Dance with Me

Some people love it, some hate it. I fall into the second category. It might be the UK's premier seaside resort but I don't choose to go. I had to go to meeting there today and only really touched the outskirts of town which was enough. Everything about Blackpool is outrageous from its tower to its Pleasure beach to it's annual illuminations. Right on the seafront at the south end of the Golden mile is a huge glitterball sculpture. It was right outside the venue for our meeting. We had to close the blinds and block out the wonderful Autumn sunshine because the spinning mirrors filled the room with distracting flashing light.
