Stortorget (Swedish: The Great Square) is a small public square in Gamla Stan, the old town in central Stockholm, Sweden. It is the oldest square in Stockholm, the historical centre around which the medieval urban conglomeration gradually came into being. This is where we spent 2 fantastic nights over the May Bank Holiday where friends have an apartment overlooking no. 18, the red building in this picture. Imagine waking up to this sight every day....
