Seaweed Ball

After a rather damp and cold weekend we decided to take a chance on a trip to the Seaside and headed to St Margarets Bay, just outside Dover. The sun shone on us for most of the morning, and it was warm enough to sit on the beach eating afreshly made BLT from the small beach hut cafe.

I left Mum to wander along the promenade and went down onto the beach armed with the camera. These seaweed balls were present all along the water's edge and Ideliberately set out to try and take one just as a wave broke round it. View large to see the texture of the the ball - and there is even a rainbow hidden in its depths
