Good Friends

Herb Robert, Geranium robertianum pictured whilst walking in the rain with Robert, a good friend. Not everyone can make a walk in the woods on a cold, dull day interesting. No butterflies, few wildflowers but with his extensive knowledge of fungi, lichen, the life cycles of insects, galls and smuts, Robert kept us amused for 90 minutes.
