Fallen giant

I walked around the field next door to have a look at the sheep that arrived there yesterday and came face to face with this large beech tree that had fallen during the January storms. Amazingly despite only being attached to the rest of the trunk by a whisker, leaves have started to appear on the branches laying on the ground.
