The Duddingston Arms, Newton, nr South Queensferry

Took this photo of the Duddingston Arms on my way to football in Edinburgh the night Hibernian escaped relegation by winning 4-0. this is the pub where my friend Mike and I stopped regularly on our way home for a couple of beers and a bit of post-match analysis. There were always a few other Hibs fans doing the same and also a resident Hearts fan who was always quick to give us his commiserations in defeat.
Sadly Mike passed away two weeks ago so this blip is for him and for the 30 plus years we have watched football together
