Aquilegia

I have lots of these pretty plants growqing in my garden. They are just about opening. This may be the first to open. Close to the house we have a rock face with a few small terraces that have a profusion of flowers that open in the early summer.

Soon the Candelabra Primulas will break into flower too. One of our two Azaleas is also just breaking into flower, a pink one. I love this time of year with these flowers opening and the fresh new leaves on the trees.
