Go on the Colts

Back to work. Another crazy day in the office. Can only do our best.

Third last league game of the season. The head coach couldn't make the game so it was me and the other coach (the dream team for next season). The Lad was struggling from Sunday, back injury. So only had 11 fit players. Put out a defensive line up first half and switched things around up front. Worked pretty well until we lost our discipline and gave away some cheap goals. But individual mistakes will happen. So 3 down at half time.

Second half the lads wanted to make a change, so we let them. Was a bit shaky first 10 mins. Then they settled down and started to apply pressure. The other team were rattled and we rode our luck and managed to pull back two goals. Another 10 mins and I would have fancied our chances, but it wasn't to be. Sterling effort and attitude. The other team wrapped up the league. So it proves the levels the team can achieve with the right attitude and effort.
