Lothian Health Board Microbiology Unit and Edinburgh Council Environmental Health Dept are fucking incompetent imbeciles. They have us running about in a panic, have a perfectly well kid off his nursery until 2 samples are checked for E Coli, give conflicting information constantly and cause no end of distress to an already distressed family.

They've now lost his second sample. Cue another week of stress and no (paid-for) nursery (when we need it more than ever).

How, after all the red-alert bollocks they've fed us, do they lose what is the most seriously important sample the department are dealing with right now?

If ever there is a serious outbreak of the 0157 version, be afraid. It'll be this all over again.
