Sandbags on Brighton Seafront during WW2

This is actually a photo of a photo. I was at Brighton Museum today with my daughter's school class to learn about how the impact of WW2 on Brighton and Hove. Fearing a possible invasion by sea, Brighton seafront was closed for the duration of the war. The beach was mined and strewn with barbed wire. I thought this photo captured some of these precautions.
