Back to work today. Whilst I've been being prodded, poked, cut, stitched and healed, my classroom has been stripped, plastered, recarpeted and painted. In September it will be a classroom for wee ones, so all the radiators and pipes have been boxed in, and the walls have been stripped bare, and new display boards put up at a more child friendly height. Every classroom has a bright painted wooden cross. Mine is currently propped on top of the radiator, as I don't dare put any nails in the shiny, new, soon not to be mine walls...
