Bluebells at Dockey Woods

This year's display of bluebells is passed its best and has been rather disappointing. The canopy of leaves has developed later than the bluebells and the crop of bluebells is quite poor compared to a few years ago (see Dockey Woods, image 007, in my Blipfolio).
I love to see the dark, rained-soaked, tree trunks contrasted against the saturated green of the leaf canopy and the blue blanket of bluebells.
This year I stumbled on the biggest nest I've found in ages; no idea what has occupied it (see image 006 in the Blipfolio).
